An
Amp time meter measures the current setting on an electroplating
tank 50 times per second. This value is multiplied by the
time the process is in operation. The resultant figure is
proportional to the metal deposited.
These controllers may be specified
with a new rectifier or they can be fitted to an existing
installation.
Model 1 is a read / reset unit
and is used where only a read out of amp - time is required,
this is reset each time chemicals are added to the solution.
Model 2 has a programmable
circuit allowing the amount of
Amp - Time to be pre-determined and for the meter to turn
off the rectifier at the end of the cycle. Also fitted is
a totaliser meter.
Electrical shunt 60/60 is required
where an amp time meter is to be fitted to an existing process
tank and rectifier. |
